2016 CHUO’S INTERNATIONAL WEEK

Chuo University has annually held the International Week featuring a specific country or region since 2011. Mexico will be featured during the 2016 session scheduled to take place at the Tama campus from November 28 to December 3. Mexico may be one of countries rather unfamiliar to the Japanese. But do you know that Japan and Mexico established their diplomatic relationship more than 400 years ago? Hakumon Herald planned special articles featuring the bilateral relations by way of introducing Chuo’s International Week.

中央大学は２０１１年から毎年、特定の国や地域などをテーマに「インターナショナル・ウィーク」を開催しており、今年もメキシコをテーマに１１月２８日から１２月３日の１週間、開催する予定だ。メキシコは日本人にあまり馴染みのない国の１つかもしれない。しかし、日本とメキシコは４００年以上の交流の歴史があるのをご存じだろうか。白門ヘラルドではインターナショナル・ウィークの紹介も兼ねて、日本とかかわりの深いメキシコを知る特集を企画した。 （編集部）
